The objective of the course is to learn the basic theories of microeconomics and macroeconomics needed to understand the advanced courses in international commerce. The main contents are: consumer theory, production theory and market theory in microeconomics; and unemployment, inflation, monetary policy and fiscal policy in macroeconomics.

This is an introductory course on international relations, designed to familiarize students with basic background knowledge concerning international relations. Instead of scrutinizing a specific topic or heavily employing international relations theories, this course aims to offer a birds-eye-view of multifaceted nature of contemporary international relations, by introducing a wide range of key concepts, historical overview, and major issues related to world politics and international affairs.
