On October 4th, the Special Lecture on Global Issues series took its 411th session in total and the second of 2023 Fall semester. The event was held with inviting the speaker, Mr. Eric Husketh who is currently taking his post as a Human Rights Officer at UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). Mr. Husketh discussed the current UN system and its subsidiary departments, as well as his organization's efforts in addressing human rights issues in North Korea (DPRK). He also shared vivid details about the application of international law and his career in international organizations. His lecture generated significant interest and enthusiasm among GSIS students, leading to an intensive Q&A session between the speaker and the students after the lecture.
