As the new semester began, the Special Lecture on Global Issues series also made its return on September 13th, with its 410th session in total and the very first of 2023 Fall semester. The speaker of the event, Dr. Hochul Lee (Professor Emeritus of China and International Studies at Incheon National University, as well as visiting scholar at UCLA currently) made his remarks on current US - China relations issue with his own thoughtful insights. His lecture covered timely issues relevant with American and Chinese politics, economy and whether the current US - China relations has the possibility of escalation towards new Cold War.
