On November 1st, the Special Lecture on Global Issues was held for its 413th session in total. The speaker of the event, Dr. Byung-il Choi (President of Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies, as well as Professor at GSIS of Ewha Womans University) opened his speech with chronological discussion about conflicts in various area of global society. His lecture has been later led up to the discussion regarding the possibility of new Cold War which mainly represents U.S. and China as the rivalry in economics as well as military forces. With his thoughtful insights, he shared his own view on how the world's various countries should react with their own detailed strategies for the current situation.
