Minor (부전공)

(1) Only MA students can apply for the minor in other fields.

(2) GSIS Regulation stipulates that students should apply for the minor during the designated period in his/her 2nd semester. No exception is allowed.

(3) Students must earn at least 12 credits in courses of the minor program. Of these, students are required to select 9 credits from the Concentration Requirement Courses of the minor program. The remaining 3 credits can be chosen from either requirement or elective courses of the minor program.

(4)   Please keep in mind that the same course cannot be counted twice as both major and minor course. The mandatory courses such as GISA108, GISF002, and GISF003 will be considered as priority to the major program if they conflict with major program courses.

(5) Credits acquired in other universities can’t be recognized for the minor originally.

(6) If a student applies for both a minor program and thesis writing, they must earn an additional 6 thesis credits in addition to the minimum 45 credits required for graduation. This totals 51 credits in total.
