On May 24th, the 409th lecture (in total) for the Special Lecture on Global Issues series was hosted with Mr. Kuang-chung Liang, the acting Taiwanese Representative to Republic of Korea, as the speaker. His lecture spotlighted numerous issues, including the historical background and current inter-relationship between Taiwan and Korea throughout various sectors (economics, tourism, etc.), with his opinions on the current status of Taiwan in global society. In addition, Mr. Liang's view offered invaluable insight regarding the current cross-strait relations.
