Absences (유고결석)

Absences with special reasons like the following can be permitted with the approval of the Dean of GSIS.

(1) Death of family members in a direct line (Including parents of the spouse)

(2) Marriage of him/herself

(3) Medical treatment in hospitalizations for more than 3 days

(4) Overseas business trip (Not internship)

(5) Domestic business trip (Not internship)

(6) Training period for a reserve army

→ The maximum period of permitted absences is 2 weeks for the whole reason all together (NOT 2 weeks for each reason). However, maximum period of permitted absences for the domestic business trip is 1 week.
